Comprehensive Cover is our top of the range travel policy that allows you to customise your cover to suit your travel plans.

It provides an extensive range of covers for your peace of mind and includes the following features:

  • Medical and repatriation expenses
  • Emergency Medical Assistance 24/7 provided by Allianz Global Assistance
  • Replacement cover on baggage items less than two years old
  • Free cover for dependent children under 21 years
  • Recreational sports cover free of charge:
    • Leisure skiing and snowboarding
    • Scuba diving (with PADI or NAUI qualification)
    • Hot air ballooning
    • Parasailing and paragliding
    • Bungee jumping
    • White-water rafting in rivers Grade 4 or less

 

Optional covers include:

  • Private hospital care
  • Excess buyout
  • Increased cover for specified high value items
  • Civil unrest in the Pacific Islands
  • Terrorism
  • Automatic free cover for some pre-existing medical conditions

Pre-existing medical conditions

Some pre-existing medical conditions are automatically covered under the Comprehensive Cover option.  For other medical conditions, call the Medical Hotline on 0800 100 124 to see if you can get cover for an additional premium.

 

Cover for travellers over 70 years of age

Acceptance is subject to a review and will include your medical condition(s), age, your intended destination, travel start date, and the duration of your journey.
